Welcome Back

On behalf of the Santos FC Management and players we would like to welcome back all our readers, friends and supporters dometically and internationally back to our club's webpage.

It has been quite a while now since our last posting and we would like to apologize for not keeping you all updated with the latest happenings with our club. The activities of the club have remained inactive since the beginning of the year largely due to the failure of the league administration leaving Division 1 and 2 matches uncompleted since the end of last year. The league administration has been concentrating only on the premier league division and left us the Division 1 and 2 clubs waiting in darkness for this long.

However, there is now green for the completion of Division 1 and 2 ramining matches for the old 2007 league starting this week. This came after the HFA Normalisation put a news item in the media (SIBC) today that Division 1 & 2 remaining catch up matches will now be played starting tommorrow. And fixtures for tommoroow and Thursday were already aired in the radio this morning. It looks very likely that Santos FC will have a game on Saturday this coming weekend. Santos FC still has 3 catch up matches and currently it is on the 3rd position in Division 1 league ladder. There is high hope that if Santos FC wins its last 3 remaining matches, it may take up the 2nd or even 1st position in the 2007 league depending on the results of remaining games of the currently placed 2nd and 1st clubs.

The Santos FC management has now put a news message to its players through the Solomon Star newspaper and the SIBC for resumption of training at the KGVI training ground tomorrow afternoon Tuesday 29th April 2008 at 5.00pm
